Northbound Advisory was founded by Kalah M. Gharouni, who brings more than 25 years of experience across accounting, tax preparation, payroll, business ownership, financial reconstruction, construction, property operations, procurement, and business systems. She holds an Associate degree in Accounting and is skilled at organizing complex records, identifying discrepancies, rebuilding financial timelines, and developing practical systems for moving forward.
Her experience includes residential and commercial properties, short- and long-term rentals, general contracting, logging-related operations, land clearing, demolition, materials sourcing, payroll taxes and withholding, contractor and vendor management, and helping clients start and grow businesses.
Northbound communicates directly and calmly, sets realistic expectations, distinguishes facts from assumptions, and does not guarantee outcomes. The work is scoped in writing, phased where it needs to be, and documented so you can stand behind it. The approach is practical, investigative, organized, and nonjudgmental.
